There have been numerous initiatives by government, academia, industry and communities to develop pathways and opportunities to increase Māori participation in the ICT industry.
This virtual event aims to raise awareness amongst communities, institutions of higher learning and ICT industry, and inspire ways to build and develop ICT capability and talent within their communities.
The panelists will talk about their strategies and ongoing collaborative efforts involving iwi, university and rangatahi which not only develop digital capability, but also help in ensuring mātauranga Māori, history, heritage, and taonga are preserved for future generations.
