What's it all about?
Covid has upended the way many of us work. We are now working in hybrid, virtual or distributed teams. The borderless workplace is further exacerbating the need for globally competitive workplaces in Aotearoa's tech (and other) teams.
Workplaces that don't embrace the new technological and human ways of working risk being left behind.
New tech ways alone though do not create highly productive or innovative teams. (Ever sat through a boring online team meeting?). Digital technologies and social technologies have to work together to ensure that you can provide a work experience that attracts and retains top talent whilst also driving productivity and innovation. Digital and cultural tools need to be intricately interwoven.
One year into working in "the new normal", this event is an opportunity to have a hands-on experience of how we need to do things differently from before.
We will look at the design principles of working together and challenge you to use them to further utilise tech to create transformation. There is much we can do to fully harness and develop tech to support the way we work. We will explore these opportunities through a short case study, hands-on micro-practices and discussions.
As pioneers in the future of work space, we, as the Future of Work Collective, can introduce you to ways of working as used by kiwi innovation teams such as Enspiral, HYPR, IAG, ATEED, AUT, SBC and BDO.
This event will be interactive and immersive. Come prepared to participate.

Sandra Otto - FUTURE OF WORK COLLECTIVE CO-FOUNDER AND CATALYST
Sandra draws on 30 years of international experience in high tech innovation and transformation from startups to corporations. She lives on Waiheke and co-founded the Future of Work Collective, specialised in Design, Consulting, Facilitation, Training and Talks related to the Future of Work.
Leslie Hamilton - FUTURE OF WORK COLLECTIVE CATALYST
Leslie is a change facilitator and leadership coach experienced in people and organisational performance. She assists professionals to create change by changing the conversations they have with themselves and others. Using researched, practical and creative techniques, Leslie helps her clients contribute their unique value to others and be valued by others for their uniqueness.
