What's it all about?

It’s back to the future for retro tech lovers!

Do you remember the supreme usability of the square mouse, the clean beige lines of the Apple Classic II, the Apple Lisa and the Macintosh?

Remember the slick sophistication of the clear covetable big bootied iMac and the portable lightweight Powerbook 150, and what about the extreme versatility of the SuperDrive Floppy?

Revisit some old friends this Techweek’21 at the National Library - cast your eyes over a selection of our rare vintage computers which are still used today for reading and transferring early ‘Born-digital’ material.

The pop-up will allow greater visual access to these technological relics which otherwise are kept in storage away from the spotlight.
