Hikohiko te Uira has a vision to provide digital skills trainings to thousands of Māori & Pacific communities across Aotearoa, to help them achieve rewarding careers with technology. We will do this through a unique partnership between TupuToa, Microsoft and training providers Auldhouse and Zeducation. We know that our tech workforce comprises only 4 percent Māori and 2.8 percent Pacific peoples* (*NZ Tech Report 2021). Technology is all encompassing in all aspects of our lives today, and it is important that our workforce represents our society. This is more than a one off training, you will become part of the TupuToa movement and pipeline of emerging talent as well walk out with Globally recognised accreditations.
