What's it all about?

Constant connectivity is becoming more and more prevalent in our private and professional lives. Whether it’s due to incoming emails, phone calls, social media notifications or the urge to check our social media feeds - we face many internal and external distractions. This makes it incredibly difficult for many of us to focus on work tasks or activities and get into a so-called “state of flow”.

Based on insights from AUT research, we will elaborate on the double-edged sword of constant connectivity, its impact on our ability to focus and our sense of s well-being, and tools and techniques to help manage those impacts at work and home.
