Thursday 27 May
12:30pm - 2:30pm
This event will help attendees understand what is involved in filming an online video class/showcase/lecture/talk on their iphone/android, to share with their customers. We will practice some hands-on for parts of the workshop. This will be broken down into 8 parts:
1 Content: timeline, what, bullets, close
2 Camera: phone technology is amazing these days and many recent iPhone/androids have cameras more than suitable for filming online, especially teamed with a purpose built phone tripod.
3 Location: neutral background/dress it up/multiple angles (moving tripod/multiple cameras)
4 Attire: simple (no big logos etc), relevant, professional
5 Audio: Firstly choosing whether it's live audio or to be dubbed in afterwards. Connecting/syncing with camera
6 Lighting: We will learn a little about things like aperture, shutter speed and ISO speed. But mainly how to set up lighting (how many/where/distance), a diffuser etc
7 Uploading: Transferring files to your computer can be as simple as getting the right cable. How long/what format/where to store/memory
8 Editing: Software options, branding etc
