What's it all about?

If you can’t find the right tech talent, how can you grow your business?

Technology is always changing but businesses can’t keep up; there’s a massive digital skills shortage here in New Zealand, and COVID-19 only made it worse. So how is a company meant to not only find the right tech talent, but keep them when competition is so strong?

That’s why you need this session.

Join us for an interactive event where we’ll teach you innovative ways to approach your digital skills gap using the latest data and methods in HR and recruitment as they apply to tech-specific roles. You’ll leave with key questions answered, as well as a real action plan template that you can start using to get results straight away.

At Openleaf, we treat people like humans, not resources - and it’s why we get results. We lift managers from HR to HE - human enablement. By offering a tailored, human-centric approach to recruitment, development, and of course the more complex areas of HR, we’re not just a signpost pointing you to the top of the hill but a pair of jet boots to get you there faster. Check out our online human enablement resources for managers and join our community today at https://openleaf.nz.

Mary-Anne Merriott

Director, People Consultant

Mary-Anne is the Managing Director of Openleaf Human Enablement. She has a passion for enabling and uplifting people, tackling old HR problems with new solutions, and bringing fresh practical approaches to growing businesses.

Mary-Anne found her passion for transforming HR during the global financial crisis in London.
This is where she saw the real, harsh consequences of transactional HR - the job losses suffered in that time were a baptism of fire that proved to Mary-Anne that there could be a better way to manage people. She followed her passion for human enablement around the globe, developing what would become her signature human-centric style, and has brought those lessons back to her home of New Zealand. Now she focusses on uplifting the country’s SMEs, helping our Kiwi businesses scale their operations without losing that human focus which makes them special.
