Saturday 29 May
10:00am - 4:00pm
Git is the benchmark sourcecode management and software collaboration tool in the opensource and commercial worlds. But it's more than that - it's a tool for communicating across time and space, with past and future collaborators including yourself.
If you've always wanted to learn Git but didn't have the resources available then don't miss this 2-part workshop, presented by Chris Burgess, Developer at Catalyst IT.
Aimed at tertiary students of any major/year who are interested in learning more about this powerful tool, the workshop will be held in 2 parts - Beginner Git and Advanced Git.
We'll explore Git basics, offering the skills to feel comfortable and capable using Git, as well as some advanced topics based on the needs of attendees.
There will be a break between the two parts, and we'll kick off our event with a morning tea so you can get familiar with Chris and what his role is at Catalyst.
Spaces are limited! Book now and don't miss this FREE training (worth over $400) with Catalyst on Saturday 29th May, with Comp Girls Otago and Dunedin TechWeek 2021.
