Computer Basics takes you through the basics of a computer and creates a solid foundation for continued digital literacy learning.

What's it all about?

Designed for the new user, Computer Basics takes you through the basics of a computer and creates a solid foundation for continued digital literacy learning. Those attending will learn how to use the core functions of a computer and file management:

  • The desktop, log-on and passwords
  • Using a mouse and keyboard
  • Files and folders
  • Automatic updates
  • Basic troubleshooting
  • How to run a disk cleanup, disk defragmenter, and error-checking

Join us on Thursday 27 May, 2-4pm at Grey District Library (West Coast Room).
