What's it all about?

The only way to achieve global scale and reach is via access to international markets, and the UK offers an attractive mix of expertise, innovation, investment, and ease of doing business. The UK is ranked 3rd in the world for tech investment after the US and China.

Scale-ups and global multinationals alike are drawn to the UK, recognising it as the best place to help them grow a truly global business. Come and hear from the Lord Mayor of the City of London and the British High Commissioner to New Zealand, as they chair a panel of New Zealand business experts sharing their experience of operating in this market.

This event is aimed at NZ technology businesses who are keen to learn more about business opportunities in the UK.

This session will open with an update on the UK-NZ Free Trade Agreement currently in negotiation, by British High Commissioner to New Zealand, Laura Clarke, and follow with a panel discussion by businesses who have succeeded in going global. The panel will provide practical tips on how to set up in the UK and share their successes and experiences of operating in this market.

This event will give you the opportunity to hear from and pose questions to the panel, as well as understand how the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise can support your global growth.

Breakfast and barista coffee will be served from 7AM.
